THE AUTHOR
Dr. Veronica Appleton, Ph.D. is a corporate social responsibility executive, scholar, and children’s author. She's the writer of Journey to Appleville and Tu-Tu Goes to School, which are two books part of the Appleville Book Series. Her work has been recognized by The Triibe, Los Angeles Sentinel, Campaign US, CBS Chicago, Crain’s Business, Chicago Defender, Dolly Parton Imagination Library/Open Books, FOX News, WGN Chicago and Diversity Journal’s Top Professionals in Higher Education.
She's also a mentor and board member of several nonprofits providing resources and impact in communities of color, women, men and children. Dr. Appleton believes educating the future is essential to build a brighter future.
